Your inputs stay in the page

The calculation runs in your browser. Our calculator code does not submit ratings, optional condition labels, or dependent selections to our server or intentionally pass these fields to Google as advertising data. We do not store those entries in cookies or browser storage. Reloading or closing the page clears the entered scenario.

A what-if starting point is kept only in the page’s memory until it is restored, reset, or the page is reloaded. Avoid entering identifying information into optional condition labels.

Hosting and external resources

The hosting provider may process ordinary connection and access information, such as an IP address, as part of serving and protecting the site. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google’s font service. A system-font fallback is used if those fonts are unavailable.

Links to VA.gov and other official resources take you to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices.

Advertising and lender contact

This site includes Google AdSense code on its calculator and content pages. Google and other advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted by your settings and applicable consent, personalize advertising. When advertising services load, your browser may send information such as your IP address, the page URL, and browser or device details. Google may use information from visits to this and other websites to provide relevant ads. AdSense installation does not mean Google has approved this site or that ads will always appear.

Read how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can manage or turn off Google ad personalization in Google Ad Settings. Browser settings can also limit cookies; turning off personalization does not stop all advertising-related processing.

We do not currently collect or sell mortgage leads. Calculator use does not require requesting lender contact. A future referral service would have separate disclosures and contact choices.

Keep sensitive documents out of unverified channels

This site does not accept medical documents or claims files. Use VA’s official systems or a verified accredited representative for claim-specific communications. The accredited-help page links to VA’s resources.
